Class blog encourage collaboration
In my opinion, a class blog can encourage collaboration, especially between students in the same classroom or of student with similar interest. Blog enable students to view their peer's profile, topic of interest or check out some really cool pictures about them.
I love to check out my classmate's blog just to see if they are as normal as they appeared in class. Personally, I think some students are more interesting than they let out. I guess, the saying goes, "don't judge the book by its' cover" is also true to "don't judge a student by the class he/she takes!" Come on, that was funny!!!

The purpose of comments on blogs
After viewing a few different blogs, I believe the comments posted on it from viewers are merely the viewer's opinion of what written on an individual blog. Just like the person who posted the blog on topic(s) of interest to them, viewers also like to view blogs that of interest to them and post comments about it.
For an example, when I viewed a topic relevant to health and nutrition, a blog was found in relation to the effect Coke have on our stomach lining and what it can do if left on a car battery for several hours. It's obvious the blog was probably made to educate and discouraged others from drinking Coke. Comments from viewers could be neither good nor bad but simply a matter of agreement, disagreement, or discouragement from being educated from this site.
In other words, comments posted are merely someone's opinion on someone's educated, opinionated, or simply stated topic about something. What's your take?
